Derrick Van Orden of Prairie du Chien is a retired U.S. Navy SEAL who served 26 years in the Navy. He was first elected to the U.S. House in 2022, flipping Wisconsin's 3rd District after the retirement of long-serving Democrat Ron Kind, and was re-elected in 2024 by a 51.4% to 48.6% margin over Rebecca Cooke. He is seeking a third term and is closely aligned with President Trump, who has endorsed him.
